Yes you do, unless there is some legitimate medical reason for your inability to attend, in which case you may be able to delay your appointment. OWCP has every right to scheduled medical exams for you at “reasonable” intervals.
After handling cases for federal workers for over two decades, I continue to charge the most reasonable rates in the field. Free consultations are available to review documents and 30 minute phone or Zoom meeting to answer your questions. I do not work on contingency, and there are no hidden fees.
Everything is explained in my easy-to-understand two page agreement. I maintain an attorney-client trust account and will need you to deposit funds into the trust account before the work is done.
If your case involves work-related or service-connected injury, I will not remove my earned fees from the trust account until I have your written approval. I send regular, detailed, easy-to-read invoices.
I offer unlimited, unbilled time to clients for the discussion of invoice entries and trust account matters. I want you to understand where your money is going.
